Client's Constraints

I had to create a fully functional and responsive website in 3 days.

The client urgently needed a blog published to qualify for an affiliate program. With only the blog's primary logo and desired vibe as guidance, I was responsible for everything from branding and UX/UI design to building the entire website.

Creating an identity

Logo Ideation

The client wants "LoRoWo" as the primary logo for their blog. While it prominently features the blog's name, its adaptability is limited in smaller settings.

To address the adaptability issue, I proposed creating a secondary logo to ensure flexibility and maintain brand consistency across various sizes and applications.

Inspired by the blog's full name, "Lost in a Rose-tinted World," I considered using a capital 'L' or a rose as the secondary logo. So, I started brainstorming with some sketches. When I hit a creative block, I decided to switch gears and move to Procreate and experiment with the primary logotype.

During this process, I noticed how the elongated 'o's could serve as perfect petals for a rose icon.

Brand Identity

Within a couple of hours, I finished the secondary logo and got it approved by the client. I quickly moved on to putting together simple brand guidelines that include the dual logos, color palette, and typography.

Building the MVP

Due to the time constraints, I went with the MVP approach to test different types of content and gather user feedback.

Target Audience

The main goal of the blog is to build a community of individuals who are interested in living a more relaxed and stress-free lifestyle. These include young professionals, wellness enthusiasts, mindfulness advocates, and more.

Deliverables

Given the limited time, I opted to use a website builder to quickly publish the blog. I designed the interface from scratch using the builder's tools and enhanced the site with custom CSS and JavaScript for further customization.
