I was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I moved to the US during middle school.
I went on to pursue a B.S. in Computer Science and Design at Northeastern University.
Throughout my college career, I worked as a graphic designer, a UX/UI designer, and a frontend web developer. All these experiences gave me a strong foundation in both design and development. Additionally, they taught me valuable skills in communication, collaboration, and adaptability.
As a designer, I am committed to continuous learning and growth. After taking a gap year to take care of my family in Cambodia, I am now enrolled in Google's UX Design course to further expand my understanding of best practices in the field.
My Design Philosophy
Good design is invisible.
I believe that good design is the one that goes unnoticed. It’s intuitive and does not cause a disruption in task flows—it just works.
When I'm not designing or researching, you can find me learning new languages (I'm currently learning Korean and Mandarin!), crocheting tops, exploring new songs, reading self-help books, and fighting to keep my plant babies alive.
